Movenpick’s serving Sandwiches!!

Movenpick Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - ZomatoYep, you’ve read it right! Instapizza’s sister branch Sandwich & Sons, have collaborated with Movenpick and will be providing a whole variety of Sandwiches both in the Veg and Non Veg categories. Unfortunately though, they’ve only launched it in their Gurgaon and GK 2 outlets, but some pretty interesting things are on their way, so fret not Noida peeps! 😉

Here’s a sneak peak of their Menu:

The Grilled Vegetable & Pesto was the first dish to be served with us, and being a non vegetarian I personally loved it! Along with Peri Peri chips which were a delightful twist to the otherwise monotonous Salted Chips traditionally served with Sandwiches, this made a perfect combination. The next dish served was the Chicken, Grilled Vegetable & Pesto, which had more or less the similar dressing as it’s Veg counterpart along with soft chunks of Chicken, teamed with it’s own sauce. My side drinks were the Mango & Strawberry Tea Shake (Strawberry Tea blended with Mango Sorbet) and Blackcurrant Tea Shake (Made from Blackcurrant sorbet). The former was an interesting mix with the taste slightly leaning towards the sweeter side, while the latter was well received amongst all the other Tea Shakes we tasted.

The other sandwiches we tasted were Beetroot, Zucchini & Feta Sandwich, BBQ Chicken and Chicken & Mustard were amazing, each offering their fresh twist and delicious taste.

The next dishes to arrive at our table were Waffles with 4 different sauces (Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Caramel and Berries) to choose from, pancakes AND scoops from their fabled range of ice creams and sorbets. The

Amongst the scoops we tried – Espresso Croquant is the ideal one for all the coffee lovers out there, while their Swiss Chocolate is as a personal preference, one of the best of chocolate scoops I’ve had the chance to eat. It was somewhere nearer to Belgian Chocolate in terms of the richness of chocolate, which personally was delightfully welcomed.
We also got the opportunity to try their latest flavor, the Blueberry Cheesecake, which literally tasted like the real thing!

Coming back to the Waffles and the Pancakes, the Waffles were a bit dry but when coupled with variety of sauces an absolute delight in terms of taste. The pancakes on the other hand was the only thing I believe that could have been well prepared/garnished.

All in all, it was an absolute delight to try out the new menu by curated by Sandwich & Sons, and I look forward to more interesting dishes/drinks to be added to Movenpick’s menu.
