A 1000 Oaks

After a day’s shopping at MG road, we landed at 1000 oaks attracted by its ambiance and reviews from friends. It was calm and quite vacant as we reached early in the evening. The two seating options were equally beautiful. The outdoor seating was serene with greenery and lighting at just the right place. The chairs were made of cane and the tables had the red and white checkered table cloth which added to its beauty. The indoor seating has a bar and is contrasting to the serenity outside. Along with dim lighting inside, there is good music playing all the day long.

As we weren’t too hungry we ordered their famous “The Oaks Barman’s Pitcher” along with Crispy Potatoes to munch on alongside. The pitcher was very smooth and the mix of vodka, gin, whisky, rum and beer was perfect. They have many options it in too and we ordered the blue one (me being a digger for blue drinks). The julienne style cut potatoes, coated with red chilly paste and deep fried were delicious. I alternated my dip options with the cream sauce, ketchup and coriander chutney.

The second time I visited was on Christmas Eve. The ambiance indoor was beautiful as expected. They have the all-time favorite Hollywood music playing everyday. We ordered the Cheese Shots and Olive cheese Naanza. Both were perfect in taste and served hot. The mint and lime in Virgin Pirojkas was very refreshing. Looking forward to visit again.
